Zelda & Moku Creative, named after my two dogs!
Art inspired by wagging tails and living in the mountains we love.
After my soul-dog Maggi passed away, I was left with an aching heart and one unfinished painting of her. I immediately searched for photos of her that I could use to create a new piece that would represent our bond. It was difficult to find the perfect image, and I found myself wishing I had something more than just my memories of her to keep that feeling close, especially as time carried her further into the past. It was in this moment that I realized how much I longed to be creative again.

Art is meant to evoke emotion, and in my life, some of the most profound emotions I've felt have been with my dogs in these mountains.

Living in the mountains is special to me—they called me home over a decade ago, and they hold all the memories of the bond and love I've shared with my dogs, memories I never want to let go of.
After Zelda and Moku came bunny hopping into my life, I began to capture moments with them in ways I had wished I had captured with Maggi. This rekindled my desire to create, and that sparked the founding of Zelda & Moku Creative, where as an artist, I dip my brush into my own soul and paint the world with the colors I find in my dogs. I create functional art products for both dogs and humans, all inspired by the dogs we love in the mountains we live in. I incorporate my art into the products where I can.
